Covid-19: Kano Confirms Index Case

Kano state on Saturday confirmed the index case of coronavirus disease, (COVID-19) in the state. The State Commissioner of Health, Dr Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa, who confirmed the case, could not give detail of the patient. However, he assured that detail of the case would be released at the end of the emergency meeting by the Kano State Task Force Committee on COVID-19. COVID-19: NHRC Condemns Alleged Discrimination Against Nigerians, Africans in China  

The National Human Rights Commission has expressed  concern  over the alleged maltreatment of Nigerians and Africans in Guangzhou and other parts of the Peoples Republic of China.
