Uefa Awards: Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski Wins Men’s Player Of The Year

Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski has been named Uefa men’s Player of the Year. Poland striker Lewandowski, 32, beat Bayern team-mate Manuel Neuer and Manchester City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne to the award. Bayern’s Hansi Flick was named men’s coach of the year after leading his side to a sixth European title. Lewandowski scored 55 goals in 47 games last season as Bayern won the Champions League, Bundesliga and German Cup. Nigeria@60: China Awards 49 University Of Abuja Students Education Grant

As part of activities marking Nigeria’s 60th Independence Day celebration and the National Day of the People’s Republic of China, the Chinese government has awarded the sum of N4.9million to 49 students of the University of Abuja to support their education.
