The Executive Secretary, National Institute for Cultural Orientation NICO, Mr Ado Muhammed Yahuza, has said that some Nigerian Languages might go into extinction if urgent measures were not taken to reverse the trend. Yahuza said this at the 2nd edition of the Nigerian Indigenous Language Programme (NILP) on Monday in Abuja. The Federal Capital Territory Administration FCTA has warned principals of government-owned secondary schools in the territory against non-compliance with Covid-19 safety guidelines. Chairman, FCT Ministerial Enforcement Taskforce on Covid-19 Restrictions, Ikharo Attah gave the warning on Thursday during an inspection tour of some schools in Kubwa, Dutsen Alhaji and Gwarinpa Housing estate. Vice Chancellor to replace Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe who was removed on Wednesday over allegations of misconduct and others.
