Igbo, Yoruba, May Go Into Extinction In 50 Years Says NICO

The Executive Secretary, National Institute for Cultural Orientation NICO, Mr Ado Muhammed Yahuza, has said that some Nigerian Languages might go into extinction if urgent measures were not taken to reverse the trend. Yahuza said this at the 2nd edition of the Nigerian Indigenous Language Programme (NILP) on Monday in Abuja. Police arrests musician, Duncan Mighty Over Alleged Fraud

The Imo State Police command has said that contrary to reports that a popular musician in the state, Duncan Mighty, had been abducted, he was actually picked up by operatives of the command over allegations of fraud.
