Alleged P&ID Scam: Court Adjourns Trial To December 6

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, Thursday re-arraigned a British national, James Nolan on a 32-count amended charge bothering on his involvement in the alleged contract scam awarded to Process and Industrial Development Limited P&ID. The EFCC also presented its first witness  Adewale Akinseye, a staff of gtb, who confirmed to the court that he was the account officer of P&ID Limited. The trial judge, justice  Okon Abang adjourned the matter to December 6 for ruling on the admissibility of the statement made by the EFCC witness. 140 Guzape Illegal for Demolition, FCTA Indigenes Houses Not Included

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) says it will demolish no fewer than 140 illegal structures built on service corridors in Kuruduma II and Kpaduma II communities in Guzape District. Mr. Thompson Hope, Chief Town Planning Officer, FCT Department of Development Control, made the disclosure while briefing newsmen Wednesday during an inspection of the illegal structures.
