Abuja records another covid-19 case

The Federal government has announced another case of coronavirus case in the FCT. The confirmation of the fresh one case is coming 24 hours after the the city record three cases. The Nigeria centre for disease control NCDC in their verified twitter handle said ” One new case of #COVID19 has been confirmed in FCT, Nigeria As at 11:00 am on the 22nd of March, there are 27 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria Of the 27 confirmed cases, 2 have been discharged with no death.” Spread the love

FG shuts Lagos, Abuja airports Monday Over Coronavirus

The Federal Government says the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos; and Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja will be shut effective Monday, March 23. This is contained in a statement signed by the Director-General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, Capt. Musa Nuhu. The closure of international flight operations at the Lagos and Abuja airports is in addition to the three other international airports in Kano, Enugu and Port Harcourt shut for flight operations on Saturday. The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority NCAA has suspended Turkish Airlines from operating into the country over persistent baggage delays.
