Nigeria’s Health ministry confirms 10 new cases of coronavirus

The Nigeria’s Federal ministry of health has confirmed 10 new cases of Covid_19 in the country.
The minister of health Dr. Osagie Ehanire confirmed this in a statement made available to ITV news through our health correspondent Joseph Kadiri.
The minister Says among the 10 cases, 3 in Abuja the nation’s capital while seven in Lagos.
The statement says the ministry and the Nigeria centre of Disease control NCDC is working with University of Abuja teaching hospital Gwagwalada on the three cases.
Saturday’s coronavirus cases are the first to be recorded in Nigeria’s capital Abuja.
The Federal Capital territory administration has since shutdown schools for thirty days.
The ministers spokesman Abubakar Sani in a press conference also says the minister has ban gathering of more than 50 persons including worship centres.
